Delicious Dining Experience

The restaurant at the resort offers stunning views of the lake and serves a variety of delicious meals. We indulged in a meal plan, and I was impressed by the quality of food served. The portion sizes were generous, and we particularly appreciated the local wine selection. Dining on the screened-in veranda with a view was truly relaxing. Overall, it made our meals nice.

Comfortable and Spacious Rooms

I stayed in a king jacuzzi suite that was rustic yet charming. The room was well-renovated, clean, and very comfortable. I loved that it had a sitting area and a fridge. Being next to the pool was great as well, although I wish they had a better selection of in-room coffee! Overall, the room was a nice retreat after a day of activities.

Fun for the Kids

The resort was incredibly family-friendly with a wide range of activities for kids. We took advantage of the children's play area and even enjoyed some tennis! There were also fire pits which the kids loved for making s'mores at night. It was great to see my children engaged and entertained throughout our stay.

Active & Engaging Activities

During our stay, we enjoyed various sports and fitness options, including basketball and tennis. The grounds offered ample space for our family to stay active. Even though the tennis courts were a bit worn, it didn't hinder our enjoyment. It was wonderful to have such activities available right at the resort to keep the whole family engaged.

Our family reunion at Isaiah Tubbs Resort was enjoyable, with a lovely lakeside view from our room and ample space for gathering, but the varying conditions of the rooms and dining services left much to be desired. While the location is perfect for exploring nearby attractions, some aspects like room maintenance and dining quality fell short of expectations.

Our stay at the resort was a mix of good and not-so-good experiences. The location was fantastic for visiting Sandbanks Park and the property itself was large and beautifully treed. However, the state of the rooms and the dining service left something to be desired.
